A Man and His Dog

Walter had an eventful weekend! He was asked to try and track down a lost dog for a friend. The trip required him to ride in the cab of the truck. Slobbery dog + dog who brings deer parts to the house + dog who lives outside = a bath. Not just any ol' bath was going to do........ This required his first bath in the house! Darin actually had to pick him up to put him in the tub and then Walter just stood there.......... And stood there........... And didn't move...........We were pretty sure he thought he was in trouble! After a while he at least looked at us! We finally got him cleaned, brushed, and yes.... He shook! He was clean for the ride though! He didn't mind the hour long ride. He would stand, then sit, then stand, then sleep. After walking him around the property, he found big bones, would go on a trail of something, find other random things, but never found the missing dog - the owner is at least glad the dog's "parts" are not around the property and hopeful someone picked him up and he will return! What an adventurous day for the bloodhound!
