Eldoret
We made it to Eldoret late Friday night. We are staying at the IU house. On Saturday we walked to the Mother Baby Hospital to have a few meetings with the staff. We toured the unit, had tea with the nurses, and were able to see parts of the rest of the hospital. Currently the NICU has about 30 babies. We helped the nurses place the smallest baby - 700 grams- on cpap while we were there. We also found out their suction machine was not working, so their eyes lit up when we told them we brought them one. (thank you SCC , we bought a couple of these machines with your donations!)
