IU House

We are staying at the IU house in Eldoret. It is a place for med students, residents, and others who are coming to Eldoret to work with the Moi college and hospital to stay and feel at home. There are about 20 rooms here, they have laundry available, its gated and guarded, they will arrange transportation, there is a pantry of food available, they filter the water and have it ready to go in water bottles, and lunch and dinner is always served through the week days. It's been great getting to know the others who are here. I have met some back home in the NICU, there are 6 pharmacy students from Purdue, and its neat to hear everyone else's story and what brought them to Kenya. Thursday nights are dodgeball nights - so dodgeball it was!
