Fetching Water

Today a few of us helped fetch the water needed for the day. This is something that is done whenever water is needed and whenever the collection tub is empty, and it is the water used for everything: laundry, dishes, cleaning, cooking, drinking, bathing...... We walked down a path with our plastic jugs and collected the water from the stream. Along the way, one of the girls asked me, " Do you fetch your water in America?"  I wanted to cry right then and there.

How much I take for granted on a daily basis.......

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
