To Town for Food

First, I must say thank you, thank you, thank you! This post would not be possible without the generous donations of many for our trip to Uganda and Ethiopia. We were blessed with enough donations that we were able to buy extra food for the children at Return Ministries. Pastor Samuel said that we purchased enough to feed them for about one month. You have no idea what this means to me, to our team, and most importantly to the children and families at Return. So again, THANK YOU!

We took the van into town, and BARGAIN shopped - One of my favorite things to do!!! (No coupons in Uganda though!!) We asked around for the best prices on the items we were purchasing. Each store had a variety of beans, flour, rice, sugar......... I've never seen so many colors of beans before!

There were different types of flour to choose from.

After purchasing everything, we loaded it all on top of the van, headed back to Return, and unloaded it at Return. We were able to buy bags of flour, sugar, beans, rice, and a container of cooking oil. Thank you again.
